Tim Fairbanks

Tim leads our financial strategy, overseeing accounting, financial planning, and analysis to support our continued growth and business objectives.

Before Gainwell, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Convey Health Solutions for over 20 years, guiding the organization through various stages of strategic transformation and rapid growth.

During his tenure at Convey, he drove material equity returns through three change-of-control private equity investments and an initial public offering on the NYSE. Tim also led the public offering and subsequent sale of the predecessor company, NationsHealth. Notably, he built Convey’s finance and accounting infrastructure from pre-revenue stage to a public reporting company through disciplined financial management including corporate governance, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, he spearheaded several targeted acquisitions to supplement the existing organic growth.

Before joining Convey, Tim held various finance and accounting roles in both public and privately held companies, including Republic Services Group (NYSE: RSG) where he worked extensively on its IPO and rapid-paced acquisition strategy.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Florida Atlantic University.
