Dave Bennett is a senior vice president of product for Gainwell. In this role he is responsible for strategy, innovation and growth in Gainwell’s portfolio, which includes Gainwell’s Medicaid management information systems as well as public health, analytics and interoperability solutions management, product engineering and product marketing.
Previously, he was vice president and head of the Build organization for DXC’s Healthcare and Life Sciences business unit, leading the product management, architecture, development, solution consulting and industry specialist groups.
Dave has been a technology entrepreneur for more than 30 years. Prior to joining DXC in 2018, Dave served as executive vice president for product and strategy at Orion Health, focusing on new models of medicine. During his 4-year tenure, Dave built and ran the software company’s population health management business, leading healthcare integration, advanced analytics, real-time community care management solutions and precision health partnerships.
Prior to joining Orion Health, Dave was a senior vice president at NantWorks, assisting in the company’s formation and new precision medicine models. Previously, he founded Cyclone Commerce, a business-to-business integration software firm later acquired by Axway, Inc.
Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from DeVry University. He currently serves on the Grand Canyon University (GCU) President’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Advisory Board.
